Eastjaw Wetlands

The Eastjaw Wetlands is a swamp just east of Freeport. It covers about 10 miles and the terrain can quite treacherous in some areas. A road runs through the southern portion, which connects Dynt and Freeport. In many places the road has wooden bridges making travel passable. While the southern portion of the swamp is rather safe, the northern swamp is inhabited by several dangerous creatures. From time to time they do make their way south to threaten travelers, so most people making the trip usually prepare by traveling in numbers, or with armed guards.
