Blord
Blord is a small village on the river near the eastern coast of Skull Island. It was the home to a few fisherman and farmers. It now lies abandoned and is said to be under a curse.
History
Blord was established by local man who used to spend him time fishing the the waters of the river. He built a home for him and his wife, and then his children and soon there was a small community. The village has never been large or important.
Blord has always had its share of dangers though. Close to the forest, and the creatures that lived there, but far enough from Freeport and Dynt that they didn't afford it much protection it has always lived with a risk of safety for its relative freedom. The Village was a target of trolls and goblins and even some other creatures form the river or nearby swamp, yet they managed to pull through.
That all ended when a Pirate named Renshaw 'Cutthroat' Twynam pulled his crew into the bay and tried to find a place to hold up for a bit, when the Freeport Navy was hot on his tail. He and him men found the village, but the residents didn't want anything to do him. He took that personally and decided to kill everyone in the village as a "lesson". He found though that the villagers were not so easily cowed and even though the pirate won the day, it was not without a great losses. Many of the crew to fell to the humble weapons of the resident or Blord and even Twynam took a fatal wound, dying after three days of agony.
When the massacre was finally found the city village had been filled with the walking dead, pirates and villagers both. Several time priests have tried to clear it, but something keeps bringing them back.
