Mithril Castle
Mithril Castle is the ancient home of Florin Greyeyes, the Mithril Knight and best friend of King Averon of Eroth. It was built after the Florin made the choice to abandon Arvendar and devote himself to the protection of Eroth. It was built West of Hilston and was the western most castle at the time. The Godswood was a small grove at the time, and well north of the Castle.
The Castle was abandoned (as Florin had no children) when he and his men left to help defend Sanction against the Black Land invasion. After the invasion Eroth no longer ruled Emic. Ownership of the Castle was disputed between Halan and Hilston. Hilston Claimed ownership as it was considered the capital of Emic under Eroth. Halan, claimed that the Castle was closer to it's lands than Hilston. While the two states argued, the Godswood claimed the Castle and it fell to ruins.
Today the Castle's ruins sit's in the middle of the Godswood. Most of its walls have fallen and the area overgrown. The few that have seen the castle talk of creatures using the ruins as home.

Testimonials
Tiller and I once saw the Castle from afar. It's nothing like the stories. There aint no shining walls or banners. The moat is still there, and the water looked clean. The bridge crossing it looked strong. Most of the walls is crumbling though. Only one tower still stands. We was going to take a closer look but that was when we seen them. Big ugly thing, standing more than a man tall. Carrying thick clubs, walking around like they owned the place. That was when we left. - Micah, woodcutter. Meryn decided to enter first, as is his style. The bridge over the moat looks sturdy but he never trusted it. He said if it as his place the bridge would be trapped. He was always a untrusting sort though. He jumped in the moat ans swam across to the other side nice and quiet. I had my bow ready in case he needed some help. He didn't want to walk in the main entrance, so he circled around looking for an opening in the outer wall. I didn't like it as I was having trouble keeping an eye on him. He found some type of opening but he had to crawl on his belly to get in. We waited for the all clear signal but instead we heard a sound I won't soon forget. The scream that came from the poor man will haunt me for some time. As well as the sight of his dismembered arm flying over the wall. We never went back to the castle after that. One life lost to folly was enough. - Revelen, leader of the Delving five adventurers group.
