Our Lady of the Shoals

Every pirate knows his life and fortune depends on the favor of the Storm Goddess, and pirate tend to be a superstitious lot, so it only makes sense for there to be a Temple to the Tempest in Hara Bay. The temple is built from the stern of a wrecked ship, and has a full mast and sail sitting on the top it. Like a flag the sail if furled at night, and open to the wind during the day.
The head priest of the temple Neptune Glorian collect offerings from the sailor and provide blessing or prayers for the sailor or ship. He also offers his service for healing and for charging the figurehead of a stolen ship. Changing the figurehead of a ship is very unlucky unless it is done with the blessing of a priest of Tempest.

History

When Neptune discovered that the folks of Haram Bay were making offering to Tempest in small unofficial ceremonies led by the old priest, a wave dancer, he saw an opportunity to give himself a better life, and serve his goddess at the same time.

When the old priest disappeared, he stepped up and asked for donations to build a new temple. He also obtained some funding from Dain is exchange for free healing for her staff and a cut of the profit from his work. Soon after Our Lady of the Shoals was built.
