Maroka Imperial Family

The Marokan Imperial Family is an ancient lineage that stretches back to the founding of their nation, which has always been led by a Matriarchy. Throughout history, queens have ruled with great authority, and even as the nation evolved into an empire, the title of Queen persisted, and the rulers resisted being addressed as Empresses.   The current ruler of the Marokan Imperial Family is Lillinthia Victarinna Llarranah IV, a widely popular and respected queen known for her fairness and nobility. As she worry of her emotional state after losing her beloved, and the possible detrimental effect it may have in her rulership, her daughters are vying to succeed her and take on the mantle of leadership.   Despite the matriarchal structure of Marokan society, the head of the household has always been a male figure. However, the royal family has never had a king; the closest title is that of a consort. Monogamy is the norm within the royal family, although there have been exceptions in the past with some Dark Queens. While there are no laws prohibiting the Queen from having multiple consorts, it is generally frowned upon, and the ideal is for her to remain faithful to her chosen partner.   The Magna Carta of the Dominion, known as Codex Akasha, governs the conduct of members of the Marokan Imperial Family. While it does not dictate the actions of the Queen, as she enjoys considerable autonomy, most Dark Queens adhere to the protocols of the Codex Akasha to lead by example and maintain their noble reputation.   The Imperial household wields immense influence and wealth within the Dominion. However, this comes with a strict adherence to protocols and codes of conduct that govern their actions. The Dominion, considered the absolute property of the Queen, is governed by her decrees and decisions. All members of the royal family, along with their retinues and honored guests, reside within the grand Onyx Palace, which serves as the center of power and authority for the Marokan Imperial Family.   As the nation's history and traditions intertwine with the royal family's legacy, the Marokan Imperial Family remains a revered and influential institution, symbolizing the strength, wisdom, and continuity of their nation's rule under the guidance of their queens.   The Marokan Imperial Family, in keeping with the demeanor of the entire dominion, presents themselves as somber, quiet, and reserved, perpetuating an aura of secrecy and intrigue. Their collective presence deliberately exudes an enigmatic and mysterious aura, veiling a potential sinister core. This deliberate portrayal is evident in various aspects of their culture, from their choice of attire and aesthetics to the naming conventions used throughout the dominion.   Their preference for dark and earthen colors, often accented with gilded details, reflects their inclination towards a gothic-like aesthetic. The use of deep and rich hues adds to the overall atmosphere of darkness and shadows, enveloping their surroundings in an air of mystique.   The very names and titles they adopt also contribute to the ominous air surrounding the Marokan Imperial Family and the dominion itself. Terms like "Dominion" for their empire, "Dark Queen" for their rulers, and the "Onyx Palace" for their residence all carry connotations of darkness, power, and authority. These titles resonate with the imposing and enigmatic presence of the Marokan rulers, deepening the sense of secrecy that enshrouds their actions and intentions.   This calculated portrayal of mystery and darkness serves multiple purposes. On one hand, it establishes an air of authority and grandeur, emphasizing the Imperial Family's power and dominion over their lands. On the other hand, it creates a sense of unease and fascination among outsiders, piquing curiosity and, in some cases, fear. By intentionally cultivating this perception, the Marokan rulers maintain an element of control and respect, as others are cautious in their dealings with them.   Behind the veiled façade, the Imperial Family operates with a level of intrigue and politics that is often concealed from public view. The Codex Akasha, which governs their conduct, adds an additional layer of complexity to their actions. It is this duality of dark allure and concealed dealings that captivates the minds of those who encounter the Marokan Imperial Family and contributes to their lasting influence and legacy within the dominion and beyond.

  • Negral City
Nergal, derived from the ancient human word for darkness, is the seat of power in the north and the city of the Dark Queen, the supreme ruler of Maroka. The name itself evokes associations with malice, melancholy, and death. In the known world, Maroka is notorious as the Dark Dominion, characterized as hellish, brutal, and totalitarian. It is known as the Black Wave that swept across the frozen north, conquering the Hyperborea and instilling fear in all who encountered it. The empire's might was such that it crushed the once-unconquerable northmen, the Barbarians, and defeated the invincible plainsmen, renowned for their exceptional swordsmanship.
