Legio Noire

This mercenary company is comprised mostly of escaped slaves from Gharlarad as well as escaped criminals on the run. The Legio Noire has a reputation for being brute, fiendish and ruthless. As such none of the nobles would ever directly associate themselves with this group and usually hire them via middle man. Due to an lack of options, they have to take the worst kind of jobs literally no one else is willing to take.
Nowadays they are hired by regions at the northern end of the Deadlands tasked with keeping the Undead hordes at bay.
