Born in the Duster Marshes her early life was shaped by isolation. Her mother was a skilled healer and alchemist - and hence deemed a witch by the local town folk. As such she was destined to become a witch herself - and embraced that full heartily. Studying under her mother she became a gifted alchemist herself.
Her life took a sharp turn one fateful day. A nearby town was raided by a horde of undead. While that's nothing unusual for the region, the angry townsfolk needed someone to blame - and directed their ire towards the witch at the edge of town. Malindra barely escaped that night. Her life, her childhood and her mother went up in flames that night.
Bouncing from one location to the next she ended up in Barad. Here she met Severad and became involved in the machinations of the 2nd Legion of the Bulls. Her life was turned around again. Maybe for the better this time.
