Highsong Rovers
A mercenary group formerly led by Geldon Knoll until he was overthrown and killed by Cyrus Cage in 1398. On April 15, 1401, the party was tasked with disrupting the group by Vakkar Sithras. After capturing one of their guards, the party was able to find the location of Cyrus and kill him.
History
The Highsong Rovers were initially created as an internal disciplinary force for the Zhentarim. They were highly trained mercenaries that were used to keep the other mercenary groups that the Zhentarim employed under control and obedient. They were led by Geldon Knoll and his clairvoyant friend Panton Knoll from 1341 to 1398. Cyrus Cage became greedy and saw the power and wealth that the Highsong Rovers could accumulate by breaking away from the Zhentarim, while Geldon wanted to remain loyal. Geldon was overthrown and killed.
