Into the Feywild

The party unknowingly steps into another world that is in dire need.

After crossing the fogwall the party finds themselves in a vast magical forest, they soon learn that they have entered the Feywild, specifically into Lyhe Mheg (Garden of Dreams), home to the Summer Court. To earn the trust of the native fey the party takes the fight to one of the locations being held by The Order of the End and successfully clear out the invaders. They are then introduced to the Archey Oberon who enlists the party to assist in liberating the rest of the forest from the dangerous cult while he protects the inhabitants of Senaliesse with a powerful barrier.   During their adventure the party meets The Black Wolf again, who introduces himself as Ruvain Blackwood, as he and his men had been in the town of Basaltwood when it was swallowed by the fog, and join forces with him to protect the town from an unrelenting horde of undead. While here Ruvain speculates to the party that these undead seem like the work of another member of the Kingsglaive named Hojo, but he can't think of a reason why he would assist the cult. Word of the situation is relayed to Oberon by way of a fey companion the party gained, Ruffles the talking dog and reinforcements arrive to fend off the undead and get the people to safety.   As the party continues they face off against the second in command of the cult, a man named Micolash. Before he transformed into a monstrous aberration he confirmed the suspicions Ruvain had shared with the party: Hojo had been involved but had recently pull out his support. With the information obtained from Micolash the party and Oberon speculate that Skithiryx, the apparent leader of the cult may be some type of dragon.   The party enters the castle to confront Skithiryx after he encases the castle in a sphere of darkness and sends shadow soldiers to raze the city - after a long and nearly fatal encounter the party is able to defeat the Shadow Dragon. As the darkness fades the party is greeted by what appears to man, both congratulating them for managing to defeat the dragon and also taunting them. The being introduces himself, but his name was indiscernible them, and after letting the party get a few hits on him he prepared to kill them - only to stop and closer inspect them and Ruvain when he arrived. His words then alluded that he and the party had met before, and killing them as they are would not be any fun. He then gives the party a clue about how to move forward in their mission, and giving them the name of their enemy, "The Shepherds" before killing Droop and leaving.   As the being left rest of the darkness and anti-fey magic dissipated, allowing the fey into the castle and freeing the Summer Court. Upon being freed, the Queen of the Fey, Titania, offered her thanks and brought Droop back to life. Titania then swore the fey's cooperation in the future to repay their debt to the party and informed them it would take her three days to gather the power needed to send all the residents of the Material Plane back home.   The party spent the next few days recuperating, preparing for whatever would come next, and participating in the various festivities the fey held in the city.
