Oratorio
Oratorio is the defacto leader of Axiom. He is a very old protocol chassis Gearforged who has lived a very storied life.
Like all gearforged, Oratorio was recovered from the Mekanos Infinitum and restored to function in 121 PF. He found work as an administrator for various city services and went on to consult in various functions of Brass Ring of Novus administration. However, when his memory gears began to fail, he was let go from his position.
Thanks to a generous benefactor, Oratorio was able to have his memory gears repaired and replaced. With a new lease on life, Oratorio pointed his advocacy towards preserving gearforged life, and rallied many gearforged around this cause. He organized many expeditions to the Mekanos Infinitum in search of vital gearforged parts, eventually stockpiling them in disused warehouses in the Foundry District. While he didn't know it at the time, this would form the basis for Axiom later.
Oratorio is a compelling speaker and charasmatic leader. Between his influential voice, his heart of care for gearforged, and his ability to get results for the gearforged, Oratorio eventually amassed a following -- Gearforged and gearforged supporters who rallied around his vision. This led to the establishment of Axiom.
Today, Axiom is a haven for all gearforged and Oratorio is still the influential voice. The power that voice holds his waning however, as Oratorio's outlook is seen as outdated, especially compared to the likes of Coda. Oratorio is also aging, with key componest increasingly not being able to be replaced.
