Stone of Remembrance
Overview
The Stone of Remembrance is a holy relic for the followers of Bregoure and a monument for all of Novus. It is widely believed by followers of Bregoure that the Spire Father caught the falling city of Novus in his embrance, thus saving the city and its inhabitants. The Stone of Remembrance speculated to be a piece of the earth god himself.
The Stone was inscribed with the names of those who had perished in the fall in Novus, and marked with a dedication of gratitude by the first followers of Bregoure. It was hosted in various temples and shrines to Bregoure on the upper rings of Novus until 189 PF, when clerics and paladins of Bregoure elected to take the stone to the Palm of the Father deep within the Earthen Ring. It remains here, seemingly united with Bregoure himself within the depths and draws many pilgrims seeking to pay homage to the Spire Father.
