Clan of the Wolf (Faolan)

The Faolan, or Wolf Clan, is the numerically largest of the Celtic Clans, and occupies an area from the Golden Sea to the Pass of Dagda.   The Faolan are a warlike clan and are in a constant state of raiding their neighbors, for food, goods, and most importantly, slaves.  The slaves are used as a source of cheap labor and as human sacrifices to appease their god.   They are in control of all trade coming from the Golden Sea and all travel on Dagda's Way.  Halstatt is their largest settlement and the center of their clan territory but the various Wolf tribes maintain a number of other settelements spread throughout the territory, including two large trading settlements on the Golden Sea, Galway and Donegaf.  Their most important Temple is the Heart of the Gods, a temple built intothe edge of a water-filled basin with the Bodies of the Gods Hills.
