History of Sylarbor

Sylarbor and Skuffhimmel: The Elven and Dwarven Kingdoms in the North. They were founded at the beginning of the Age of Kings when the Sofarende Sea Elves brought groups of elves and dwarves to northwestern Apenrike and to the mouth of the Belting River. The elven leader, Sylvos Sylvarian, led his people up the river and into the expansive forest. There the dwarves built for the elves the beautiful stone and wood city of Aborion. When they had finished, they went east along the coast until they came to the Deepwash. There they turned upstream into the hills and began mining the mountains around what is now Dead Wolf Lake and creating enormous underground cities. The sea elves were supposed to return to Darthorian and bring more elves, but instead chose to stay and established the city of Tagearathon on the Belts of Ran. Frey was angered by this disobedience and sent Ran to stir up the sea and wipe out the city.
