Korinth

Korinth is an elven ghost living in the Necropolis. She is the oldest ghost that is part of mainstream elf society.

Life

Korinth and her lover Ggregg lived when the Empire still ruled over Obica. They advocated for a more political relationship to the Empire to prevent catastrophic destruction. The King of the time disagreed, and had their horns cut off and exiled them to the Hollylin Woods. Their predictions turned out to be correct, and the Empire destroyed the elven homeland, what is now called the Clovus Waste.
In the woods, they discovered a long-forgotten imperial project, dubbed the Soul Catch. It was a prison for trapping spirits if those who had died.
Korinth was angry and wanted vengeance. She murdered Ggregg, and kept possession of the Soul Catch, but did not imprison him because of their former bond.

Death

In Death, Korinth wants to maintain control over Elven society. She strongly opposes any return of natural death to Obica. She imprisons all dissenting spirits in the Soul Catch and controls the Necropolis. She has political sway over the Ghost Council, and therefore the @King.
