Aegion River

The Aegion River is one of Obseron's longest rivers, flowing from it's head in the Hornpeaks, through The Bularian Plain and The Rift, before dumping into the Bay of Andrasius. Boats can travel most of it's length, and with the exception of one impassable waterfall at The Cut it is navigable for it's entire length up to the Hornpeaks themselves. This has made it into a major trade artery for much of the Obseron's southwestern interior.
There is only one bridge across the Aegion downstream of Shakara, located at The Cut. In other areas, ferries are used to cross, and they are common near settlements or other heavily trafficked areas.
