Bay of Andrasius

The Bay of Andrasius is a large bay on the western end of Obseron by the mouth of the Aegion River. It is large and deep but relatively sheltered from storms, and the coast of the bay is dotted with tiny settlements around the calmest areas, many of them half built onto their docks. Much of the edge of the bay is forested, with The Western Forest to the north and The Windwood to the south. Its southern coast is part of the Kingdom of Thelegon, though their control there is weak, and to the northeast is the Duchy of Erthon, a de facto vassal of Pillaran. It is known for pirate activity, especially around the pirate haven Honor Bay.
The bay is named after the Aurean emperor Andrasius I, who conquered the area around it's shores.
