Athis

Athis is the god of the sun, fire, and agriculture. He is said to have created the sun using fragments from the plane of fire, and was the one to bring heat to the material plane from the plane of fire, where Gorrattam had first created it. He is also one of the gods more involved with mortal affairs, directing his sun to circle the earth to help the life he and others had created and teaching agriculture to the worlds inhabitants.
His worshipers are numerous, especially among farmers and the people of colder climates. They tend to value kindness and cooperation, and are usually humble and generous. However, some nomadic desert tribes such as the Naimar see him as a malignant force, as they do not grow plants and see the sun as a source of danger. In some traditions Athis is considered a member of The Divine Five.
