Structure

A president is elected every ten years, and a galactic congress is elected every 8. The president is in charge of writing laws and directing the military, and Congress edits, passes, or vetos those laws.

Public Agenda

They are against the horrors of authoritarianism and anarchy and they want freedom and rights for all of its citizens.

Assets

They control most of the inhabited worlds in the galaxy and control Earth, the ecumenopolis that is the center of galactic politics and economics. They also control the largest navy in the galaxy, although it is spread very thinly, and make annual revenue of quadrillions of credits in taxes.

History

After the United Nations Dissolved and a nuclear war broke out on the Mars colony, the Sol Republic (remnants of the American States) took power over much of Earth. They used their military might to conquer the rest of the Sol system and soon sent the first colony ships to extra-sol planets.
