Blindheim

-Dossier by Wilby Wallabeast

Age: Adult, Potentially Juvenile
Species: Humanoid Amphibian (?)
Diet: Carnivore
Temperament: Aggressive

Notable Abilities: As the name entails, a Blindheim is capable of blinding any creature within at least thirty feet of it with a cone of bright light, extending to what appears to be about sixty feet with the effect weakening the further it reaches. Any unlucky individual caught within this ray of light, if not quick enough to shield their eyes, are blinded for an unspecified amount of time but the effect can last for an hour at most or simply not affect the subject at all.
Due to this effect, it feels safe to assume they may also be immune to forms of blindness themselves and bright lights as a distraction. A blindheim is equipped with both a strong set of jaws and a sharp pair of claws, making them a bit of an annoying foe when within range of it. While not quite ambush creatures, they do act as such and may swarm those affected by the lights if they find the odds shifted in their favor. Unless, of course, you are a person attending the carnival or the rolling body of a cultist. They will eat you regardless.

Description: A blindheim appears to be a creature that resembles a vaguely humanoid form, but mutated and grubby; resembling that of a grotesque frog. It looks as if a membrane coats their entire form, giving them a vaguely bumpy visage of a toad in some aspects, except if you added rows of horrid razor sharp teeth and a set of pointed claws at the end of each webbed limb.
They also seem to sport a small, yet stubby tail as well as webbing on their “hands” and “feet”, meaning they could be versed in traversing both water and land. Accompany this with a weaker climbing ability and you’ve got yourself a rather annoying, yet deadly foe under the correct circumstances.

    Survivability: 3 / 5 (Unless a common fair goer)
  Difficulty: 3 / 5 (Annoying)
Domestication: I am in possession of three Blindheim Eggs, we will see if they are capable of being domesticated in service for good rather than for evil. Unless, of course, they hatch and decide that they are inherently evil.
More notes to come.
