Charles Beaumontigue
Charles Beaumontigue is an old tournament Knight, who learned quickly that the way you rise in the world is by realizing that you are the only one who matters. Putting yourself before everything and everyone. Though, putting yourself first was important, you had to have a sense of Charm to woo those who you needed on your side.
His squires were more akin to... cup-bearers, and food servants to feed his insatiable love for food, drink, and revelry. His lust was not only for food and drink, but it was also for company. A fine lass or two were always seen with him, and they would be new every day. He loved exotic foods, but exotic people he did not take a liking too. Infact, he treated them like trash, and openly spit on them... figuratively speaking, of course.
In more recent years though he has found himself in the cushy position of Knight-Captain of the High Ladies Watch out in Oaksholde and has just helped fund that ego of his even more. With Beaumontigue you can always count on the fact that he will always choose self-survival over any other course of action.
