Grandmane
Qualifications
This is the wisest, strongest, most intelligent, and most powerful rider in the entire order. To obtain this rank is surpass your active peers. They are in charge of the maintenance and care for the guild, it's members and their phase panthers. As such they must demonstrate the peak of knowledge and behaviour in all things related to the guild.
Appointment
The candidate of Grandmane is nominated by the Shade Masters, from among the current pool of Shade Masters. Once candidates have been put forward, they are voted in by a clear majority. In the event of a tie the Eldest will weigh in to complete the election.
Responsibilities
- They must ensure the Shadow riders all conduct themselves in accordance with the tenants of The Guild.
- They must ensure the safety of the guild, both panthers and riders.
- They must answer requests to the Guild for aid.
- They must aid in the oversight of the administration of the guild.
Benefits
Status 5 in The Shadow Riders Guild.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
- The Shade Masters can vote to oust a Grandmane, but they must have a clear majority.
- Death
- Retirement
