She is a great squire and if I thought for a moment that I could meet her needs, I would have offered to be her liege; but I know better. Grey Dragon Rider for certain. I do sometimes wonder if she doesn't orgasm by precisely counted measures of a metronome."

"I never had a sister in my blood family, but Kali has stepped in as my chosen sister. We couldn't be two more different people, but at the heart of things we found a connection that went beyond the superficial. She is one of the people I trust most, and she has never made me regret that."

Rhonin: Another person I hope to not have to see on the battlefield as an enemy. She has a lot of growing to do but that will happen with time. There is a skepticism that seems to float around her all the time like she is looking for flaws and hidden motivations. Sure this paranoia could pay off, but I really hope she goes about growth earnestly and not my chopping parts of herself off. Other than that a skilled little mage.

One of the people I trust with my life. She's been a protector on the Ark since before she awakened, and even more so after. Do I know her well? No, but she doesn't seem like the type who wants to know too many people - and we're surrounded by so many new people now.

"What can be said about Kali? She was among the first to threaten me upon my return to the land of the waking. However, her threat was in defense and protection of others. I have since seen her fight and truly feel I could learn a few things from her. It's been so long since I have seen someone who breathes and has a finite life that I have seen as one who is my better with a blade, and yet she is."

Kali is one of my oldest and closest friends; one of those I would call sister if I thought she would welcome it. She is fiercely intelligent; deeply principled and when she permits herself to be, so deeply caring and with a wicked sense of humour. Given how little life gave her to work with, she has grown into a beautiful person. There is almost nothing that makes me angrier than what she was robbed of. I cannot give back the time stolen from her; but I hope here on Terra, we can give her some fraction of childhood joy.

Kali is... is... how do you dilute someone you love so much down to something so simple as words? She is where my heart finds its wildest songs. I long for her when she is away but I want to encourage this newfound ambition she has. She is equally captivating, mesmerizing and awe-inspiring. She is a fierce protector and truly terrifying if you are on the wrong side of justice. Sometimes she has such an intense focus that she forgets to look up and appreciate the world around her, to stop and be still and just breathe a moment. I hope I bring at least some moments of such calm so her inner demons quiet and she can just... be.

It may sound strange, but Kali was one of the first friends I made as an adult on my own.We're very different people, but I feel really comfortable around her for whatever reasons. I'll never be the Mastigos she is, but I don't think anyone could be Kali but Kali. I'll forever be honored she asked me to be a part of the cabal.
