Anchors

An anchor is a person, idea, or object used by Werewolves to help them control their shift, especially during a full moon.

Anchors are most often a person with whom the werewolf has a strong relationship, almost always a Human or other non-werewolf, as the anchor's role to tie the werewof to their human side.

An anchor may be possitive or negative depending on the emotions they evoke. For example, Erica Reyes's anchor is her friend Stiles Stilinski, while Derek Hale's anchor is his anger over the deaths of his family.
