Overview
These territorial spinosaurs are some of the most dangerous creatures of the Turquoise Serpent and the neighboring deltas. While the nguma-monene’s primary diet is fish, their sheer size, strength, and ability to maneuver expertly on both land and water have earned them a feared reputation. This is only bolstered by their unique ability to summon an aether-nullifying field in a 40-foot radius around themselves. This functions similarly to the antimagic field spell, but also completely shuts down any aetheromechanical technology and shields the area from aether storms.The nguma-monene’s aether-nullifying abilities and crocodilian mein have made them highly prized by the sobekites. Nguma-monene bred for loyalty protect many sobekite communities, and their sails are often painted with evil eyes or other curse-deflecting symbols.
