Simurgh

Overview

Enormous dog-birds brimming with life-giving aether. While this is similar to the anzu, the simurgh's aether is much more controlled and focused on growth and purification. Its presence causes plants to grow and purifies noxious water, and its breath can heal wounds and cleanse disease. Several oases are known to be caused by a nesting simurgh, though the creatures are naturally solitary and leave if their homes become too populated.
