A bit of a rarity in Dalkori circles, the archpriest is a water genasi who has gained broad acceptance amongst his peers. His rise in the Church of the Geminate has been swift but not without significant struggle. He preaches that the world's view, and even his own church's view, of Jos'Nala is flawed. She has always been seen as the dominant one of the twins and accused of being the one who orchestrated the events which led to the Sundering. Dray believes that this entire line of thinking is flawed and seeks to flip the theology of his church on its head.

Personal history
Dray is said to have been abandoned by his elemental progenitor in the lakes by the Imperial Dalkori Palace. A well-placed noblewoman of the empire found him and decided to raise him as her own due to her inability to bear an heir of her own. Dray was well-cared for and raised as a high-born child of the empire.
Education
Dray was educated in the Gemini Cathedral school where he found his calling to the priesthood. His unique origins had instilled within him a stubborn streak and he constantly bucked the conventional wisdom of the priesthood whenever he could.
Intellectual Characteristics
In many, if not most, respects, Dray is the consummate priest of the Geminate. It was only because of this that he was able to rise to his current lofty position. He is highly intelligent and possesses a stubborn streak that has caused many a colleague to question their own paths more than once. It is his keen mind that has also brought on his greatest troubles as he refuses to accept "conventional" wisdom unless he has taken the time to ponder the subjects on his own. His beliefs that Jos'Nala was not to blame for the breakdown of The Conclave and near destruction of the world are highly controversial and threatens to undermine over millenia of theology. His elevation to archpriest is in spite of his rather unorthodox beliefs and not because of them.

Dray's passion and intellect are what have driven him throughout his life. The last few years he has begun to convince a sizeable number of Geminate priests and followers of the Twins that his theory makes much sense. As his personal reknown has grown, so has the belief in his ideas. His passion and intelligence have rendered him an eloquent speaker who conveys honesty. These traits have propelled him to where he is and his stock continues to rise.
