The Valnuir is what the Triad believes to be the equivalent of the afterlife. After Marok's sudden death, Galmok began to get suspicious and wanted to create a place to hide and store the gifts the Ancients had given them should the need arise (Galmok's staff, Ramok's sword, and Marok's scanner). This is also where the regalan oracles reside.
Now that Ramok was gone as well, Galmok began to get even more suspicious. He hid all three Triad artifacts within the Valnuir for their safekeeping.
Galmok had already been suspicious of the circumstances surrounding his brothers' deaths, but by this time, he was getting paranoid. He told no one of his investigation at first, but he left Regalus and only kept in contact with his most trusted aide.
The report of Galmok's death is what historians mark as the end of the Era of the Triad and the beginning of the Post Triad Era.
Cladarians are cousins of the regalans and have never liked the fact that the regalans are essentially a better version of them. This animosity finally came to a head when the regalans barred entry into Regalus due to the cladarians causing problems when they visited the planet. Due to the cladarians outstanding ability to hold grudges, this conflict lasted over one hundred years.
Ellishora assumed the throne after both of her brothers were killed.
