The complete and definitive timeline of the Omicron Quadrant
The beginning of the official written history of the quadrant.
The Ancients had their own writings and recorded history but they have been lost to time. They lived near the Galactic Core, thus unreachable without highly advanced spaceflight technology.
The Great Conflict was the rising violence between the reglorelds. They had been living on one planet all together, but had grown apart over the centuries, thus evolving separately. The planet of origin no longer exists and its name had been lost, but scholars believe it is now the asteroid belt in the Solace System. Others believe that the origin planet in the Triaddian Nebula due to it being so close to the descriptions in the Triadian.
The Ancients sent Galmok and Ramok into the Omicron Quadrant to help the reglorelds bring some semblance of order to the quadrant. This era is named for their first appearance to the year Galmok was thought to be killed.
The Ancients sent Galmok and Ramok who then split up the reglorelds up into the regalans and the lorelds, easing the tensions.
Upon Marok’s abrupt departure with the lorav, the Ancients gave the three their respective planets: Regalus, Eldev, and Levos.
He created the texlors with the sole intention of destroying the Triad. He believed that the lorav were encroaching on what he perceived as his territory.
The Ancients already had spaceflight, but the lorav developed their own technology separate from the Ancients. They shared their technology with regalans and the eldevians, opening up space for the first time in recorded history.
Everyone believed the texlors were harmless, so they let the texlors go wherever they wanted. While no one could understand them, they only seemed to want to work for nothing.
According to all scans, the sun had spontaneously frozen over. Marok left to figure out what was going on but went missing along with his ship and crew in the process. Show Spoiler
The Manifesto is considered the book about any and all machines/technology which is why it was used as a textbook in schools all throughout the quadrant until 3195 when it was officially banned. The Creator had already started making alterations to his book, such as taking out the location of his planet by the 3rd Edition.
The texlors continued with the book alterations until the Creator’s wishes were met.
Dirath Angla (which translates out of eldevian to Angels of Death) would later become known as the Coalition of Assassins.
Armed riots broke out all over Eldev instigated by the dissidents. Ramok attempted to broker peace but to no avail.
The group of dissidents was now going by the name Delcarr, which translates to “Pure of Mind” in the common tongue. This group was against Ramok’s teachings in that they didn't subscribe to his philosophy.
The Valnuir is what the Triad believes to be the equivalent of the afterlife. After Marok's sudden death, Galmok began to get suspicious and wanted to create a place to hide and store the gifts the Ancients had given them should the need arise (Galmok's staff, Ramok's sword, and Marok's scanner). This is also where the regalan oracles reside.
During the final battle between the eldevians and Delcarr, Helmarr, Ramok's second in command and best friend turns on him and kills him. Ramok curses Helmarr with his dying breath and, in turn, Eldev, making the atmosphere turn toxic. The process was already taking place in the atmosphere but only after Ramok’s death did the effects start being noticed.
Now that Ramok was gone as well, Galmok began to get even more suspicious. He hid all three Triad artifacts within the Valnuir for their safekeeping.
By this time, Eldev's atmosphere was beginning to cause health problems among the eldevians. The loravs heard about their plight and built an airborne station that emitted a forcefield-type shield that protected the planet from the toxicity of the atmosphere. The eldevians later modified the system to also act as a defensive shield.
Galmok had already been suspicious of the circumstances surrounding his brothers' deaths, but by this time, he was getting paranoid. He told no one of his investigation at first, but he left Regalus and only kept in contact with his most trusted aide.
The report of Galmok's death is what historians mark as the end of the Era of the Triad and the beginning of the Post Triad Era.
The “barbarians” of the quadrant were considered to be the creagans, vlanns, and ahadrians. They stole spaceflight technology from the lorav and began terrorizing the quadrant. The spacefaring vessels the "barbarians" used already were crude and unreliable, so stealing Triad ships made them more of a threat.
Cladarians are cousins of the regalans and have never liked the fact that the regalans are essentially a better version of them. This animosity finally came to a head when the regalans barred entry into Regalus due to the cladarians causing problems when they visited the planet. Due to the cladarians outstanding ability to hold grudges, this conflict lasted over one hundred years.
The eldevians begin to realize that the silhadox are more intelligent than they let on. The eldevians were using the silhadox for cheap labor, and the sils seemed to thrive from being able to work. After a time, however, the silhadox began to get restless.
While the silhadox began demanding more rights 77 years earlier, what the eldevians gave them was deemed not enough. They wanted access to eldevian ships and weapons and to be sent back to Prema, the sil homeworld. For the first several years after this, there were extensive talks, trying to reach some sort of compromise between the two.
Because both species resided in the same system, the eldevian government exempted the sils from the tolls they had set up on the Intersystem Transit Lines.

The original Alliance was between the humans and the Triad, though after the government was set up, they rarely interacted until later. The Mutual Peace Act ensured that the Triad and the humans would never engage each other in battle. Oliveaux Pecanty was named governor.
The Black Hawks were originally known as the Gorra-Soven, but the name was changed to scare the humans and their fledgling government.
Gunmar-hald was the leader of the silhadox. The eldevian that killed him had been exiled by the eldevians two years prior and in an attempt to get back at the eldevian government, he assassinated the hald.
The aketians, the praxan, and the Triad officially form an alliance with the humans.
On September 26, 2741, the first shots were fired between the eldevian ship RS Letarr and the silhadox ship Gruumhold. Up until that point, the sils had been boarding eldevian ships and kidnapping their crews, but no actual naval altercations had taken place. On a routine border patrol, the RS Letarr came across a seemingly abandoned sil ship. It was a trap, however. The Letarr and her crew was the first official casualty of the war.
Shozo's War referrs to the economic war between the fledgling human economy and the IGBG (Intergalactic Business Guild), namely the praxans. The praxans levied heavy tariffs on human imports into the Yelfrem System in an attempt to upset the human economy. The praxans felt that the humans would become too much competition. Prime Minister Shozo ended up stopping all trade with all IGBG members which led to others following suit and stopping trade as well. The IGBG lost so much money over the next few years, they offered the humans a permanent position within the Guild.
Prime Minister Weis died in office due to Bekier’s Disease, an incurable neurological degenerative disease.
As the name implies, this era was the rebirth of the Triad, Show Spoiler
This was primarily a border dispute. The creagans wanted to expand their territory into the Fa'er Nebula, but the Aketians blocked them in a naval standoff that lasted for six months before skirmishes started breaking out. Upon the request of the Omicron Government, the regalans threatened to step in and force the creagans back. This pacified the creagans for a time.
After Weis’ death, the Dark Period occurred where there was no prime minister until an official election could be held over two years later. The humans were worried about a creagan uprising due to the Aketian/Creagan Conflict that began just before Weis’ death. With no leader, they were worried about getting wrapped up in a potential war.
People were so ready for a new leader that Raymond Lester won in a historic landslide victory that will not be seen again until 3210. Raymond Lester is most well known for his signing of the Alliance Charter of 2840. He retired at the end of 2887.
The Alliance Charter of 2840 unified the planets allied with the human government, creating something of a central government. It set up the High Council and the position of Chancellor along with the requirements that must be met in order to join.
There was a small section of space that the creagans claimed as their own and did not like the Omicron Military’s presence there. After what happened with the aketians, the creagans were ready to fight for more territory. There were a few skirmishes, but Raymond Lester settled the dispute by letting the creagans have the section of space for a space station, but in return, it would remain part of the Oliveaux Cluster.
On October 12th, 2928, a privately owned digital newspaper published a headline article claiming that members of the press were being arrested for publishing supposedly slanderous content against the Omicron Military. Though no one could corroborate the story, major news sources picked it up, including Orbit News. The implications of what the story told were enough for people to buy into it, and even more so because it took almost a week for a military spokesperson to come out deny the allegations. It scared some people so much that a riot broke out outside a naval base on Saux. Four people were killed. The private newspaper announced right after that incident that the story was fake, and promptly ceased publishing.
Beck was poisoned, though the perpetrator was never caught. His ministership was fraught with scandal after scandal, mostly having to do with the allocation of government funds that ended up hurting a lot of people financially. Many believe Beck took his own life, unable to cope with the criticisms laid against him, though the police and doctors ruled it as murder.
A naval battle that occurred near Triad in an area of the Ramakus sub-system called Warrip Springs, a natural well of sycerrion gas used for powering home across the quadrant. The flagship of the eldevian navy, the RS Triad, was destroyed, the entire crew killed. This was the first major loss the eldevians had during the war.
The Transparency Act required that the government, particularly the prime minister, be more transparent. After what Prime Minister Beck did, the people had lost a lot of faith in the government. Henry Lester ran on making the ministership more open which is one of the big things that got him elected. The Act also implemented a system of checks and balances, such as the council not meeting unless the prime minister or chancellor is present.
