Reginald heard of Dim, Dark, Hazy & Associates via The Academy. He recently apprenticed under Galael Petyra, but the Half-Elf threw him out after being somewhat more inept than anticipated. Reginald followed the path of the group, meeting Gaia in her wanderings, and was lead to the group proper. He pledged his services and meager skills, in the hopes that he too can become a great adventurer one day.

Jack O'Mullan found Reginald Trystan Parcelles III In a local tavern in Kion following being de-apprenticed by Galael Petyra. Jack helped Reginald out, paying his room in the adjacent inn for the night. (Something Reginald would never admit to.) In return, Jack requested that Reginald allow him to join the quest to find Dim, Dark, Hazy & Associates, having bonded over the rumor that the adventurers life would bring riches and power. Reginald agreed, seeing the opportunity for a bit of protection.
