Eveon

The moon of Eveon shines as a perpetual jewel above the skies of Exesti. Your first step onto the surface exposes you to cacophony of sounds, sights, and smells. Gleaming skyscrapers of steel and glass populate the entire surface, like spines on a hedgehog. The moon never sleeps as it denizens engage in business and pleasure at all hours. Light shines from a thousand lamps, cars, and billboards. The air is supernaturally clean and crisp for such a technological monstrosity. People bustle about in a never-ending cascade of activity.

Geography

The terraformers of Eveon retained little of its original features. Much of the moon is composed of perfectly flat surfaces covered in bustling cities. However, some unique geographical locations are worth noting.

The Liquid Core

Through a feat of supernatural engineering, the core of Eveon is composed of water at a comfortable pressure and temperature for recreational swimming. A huge spherical resort surrounds the entire core, from which swimmers can enter the huge ball of water from any side of the planet. This is one of the main tourist attractions on the moon. It is populated with various underwater flora and fauna transplanted from Gaia.

The Shining Dragon

The only major surface area of Eveon not covered in city is the region of the Shining Dragon. This is a vast rocky terrain filled with huge crystalline and rock spires in the vague shape of dragons, custom-designed by the Grakaenaioi who assisted with the moon's terraforming.

Fauna & Flora

The city-covered regions of the moon contain small parks filled with a small variety of hand-picked Gaian flora and fauna, while the Liquid Core contains a vast amount of ocean-dwelling life. Otherwise, the planet is inhabited only by humans. There are no insects on the planet.

History

The moon was terraformed in 25 EE, to mark the one year anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Meritas and the end of the Dragon War. It was terraformed by both human SCs as well as super-powered Grakaenaioi as a symbolic joint gesture between the species. It was then immediately colonized by the citizens of the planet Exesti, who have retained sovereign control over it ever since.

Tourism

The Liquid Core makes for a popular tourist destination for people from across the Astrae system. Many people also come to enjoy the more lax laws of the Exesti government as compared to the strict rules of Gaia.
