Jotunn
Jotunn is argued, by many, to be the largest city in the world. Many folk are convinced that it is only of moderate size; those people have not been or heard of anything but the surface town and operations of the single clan that enjoys their time best in the sun. That town lies in the south part of the Plains of Aud, just north of the Starmetal Hills.
Under that town, is where the jaw drops on any who had only heard rumors.
Demographics
Dwarves run and live in the city of Jotunn. Other races that fully resided in the city were under 10%. It takes a very long time to gain the trust of the dwarves as a family, and the underground nature of the city, as well as the constant clashing of the dwarves, are usually things that ward people away after a time.
One of the few agreements of the dwarves was their hatred towards Goblins and Orcs. Half-orcs are not welcome even to this day, and their appearance more often then not still results in accepted aggression and murder of them on sight. The clans deal with both races up in the Starmetal Hills.
There is a huge spectrum of wealth in the city. The first and foremost breaks are the differences between clans. The first thought that comes to mind whenever somebody sees something different, is if it has something to do with the originating clan.
There is no significant wealth held by anybody that isn't of the dwarven race. On the same token, there are only a couple instances of poverty with somebody of another race, as they are usually removed from the city or leave on their own feet.
Coinciding with clan clashes, clashes of faith were equally open and verbally aggressive.
Government
The city is a boiling pot of the different clans. The city holds dwarves of 7 of the 12 total clans, and they each stay as independent as possible. A council of dwarves is maintained by the kings or queens of each respective clan. During the most important of times, Jotunn does serve as the seat of government for all 12 clans. Those events almost always result in some type of internal fight at some point within the city.
Geography
In the shadow of the Sword Mountains, Jotunn has a flat dry plain on one side, being the Plains of Aud. On the southeast side, the city lies at the foothills of the smaller but still expansive Starmetal Hills. the Neverwinter Woods was several days west.
Deep in the underground, there is a deep underground well, as well as an underground flowing body of water that lies further into the tunnels.
Natural Resources
The dwarves at Jotunn live off the ore they mine, and the livestock and farming they manage in the rolling Starmetal Hills.

Dwarfs that reside in Jotunn have made claims for years that they number 100,000 strong. Records of others that have studied it's city, state that it may be that much, but only if they count all the outreaching settlements. Nobody knows the exact number.
Inhabitant Demonym
Dwarves refer to themselves in connection to their clan, so there are many different labels for those that reside in in the city. from the outside, many refer to them as "The Dwarves of Jotunn".
