Ull-Bearer
Basic Information
Anatomy
Ull-Bearers are the mutated remains of deceased creatures twisted by the necromantic power emanating from entities related to Ulitir. They are often made up of several corpses fused together into one biomass, and as such resemble a jumble of limbs, heads, torsos, and other body parts in various stages of decay. Mutations often include the elongation of certain bones, the generation of long, bony spikes, growth of fleshy tentacles, and fusion of body parts.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ull-Bearers are not spawned naturally, but are rather created as a side effect of a strong necromantic presence, often related to the goddess Ulitir, Ever-Hungering. They are often seen in the presence of Crowgaunts, as the residual necromantic energy surrounding them is powerful enough to create them, and are also found near artifacts of significance to Ulitir. They may also appear in the presence of very strong liches or necromancers and their artifacts. However, more than just strong necromantic energy is required, as their also must be a sufficient amount of dead material for an Ull-Bearer to form.
