Gilbert Hildebrand

Duke Gilbert Hildebrand IV (born Y1050) is the current Duke of Adamant and therefore governor of the Southern Duchy of the Dreibach Empire. His reign began in Y1085. 
Because he fortified the city well enough to thwart the Y1094 attempted invasion of Lord Jheronimous and the Dread Battalion, and remained neutral in the Glorious Revolution of Y1105 (instead focusing on the safety of the town of Adamant), he retained enough popularity amongst the people of Adamant to retain his title in the subsequent elections.
