House of Murgatroyd

The House of Murgatroyd is a Near Isles Human dynasty that controls several small but important titles. The head of household typically serves as the Margrave of Isla Francesca, while the next-eldest has traditionally held the Wargrave position in Cantonova that serves the Cuarto Perso neighborhood and the patron Telwyth-Teg. The former is currently held by Despard Murgatroyd, and the latter by his elder brother Ruthven Murgatroyd.
A number of tragedies has befallen this family over the years, most recently the mysterious disappearance of Sir Ruthven's son Stepan in Y1103. Rumors abound that the family is cursed, not blessed, by their patron Telwyth-Teg.
