Siege of Bjália

The Siege of Bjália was a prolonged military campaign during the War of Great Sorrow, in which a military force consisting mostly of Dwarf soldiers from Erdelan and Chromatic Dragon and Dragonborn forces from Draxhaven surrounded the city of Bjália. Bjália's defenders were largely High Elf guards from within the city, though the Wood Elf armies of central and southern Scalados and the Fey-orc tribes of the Wailë-Lands provided additional protection and aid until their defeat.
The Siege of Bjália lasted twenty-eight months, from March Y359 to July Y361. Its defeat marked the end stages of the War of Great Sorrow; the Treaty of Cantonova would be signed just months later, on 1 September Y361.
