Fey-orc
The fey-orc are a subrace of Orokhim that live alongside the Orokh and Nuelorokh in the prairies of Dreibach, as well as in the Wailë-Lands of northern Scalados.
Fey-orcs, sometimes called prairie elves (in Common), Eldorokh (in Orcish), or Urcuëlda (in Elvish), were molded by the Fey in the same way that other Elf subraces were, but created thousands of years later, and from orcs instead of humans. Their patron is Telwyth-Teg; as such, they are aligned with no season. Fey-orcs rarely align themselves with either side of the Orc/Half-orc conflict, consciously staying neutral and sometimes aligning themselves with other gods or dynasties entirely. Just like all other elves, they live between 600-750 years (all other Orokhim rarely live past 120).
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The fey-orc speak Orokhimshe, but tinged with many Elvish (and a few Sylvan) loanwords. On the few occasions that they write—mostly to communicate with outsiders—Northern fey-orc transliterate Orokhimshe into the runes of Elvish. Otherwise, they use Orokhimshe knot-patterns as the other Orokhim cultures do.
Shared customary codes and values
Fey-orcs tend towards neutral alignments. Their culture prizes harmony and following the natural path of the universe, even in cases that may be upsetting or nonsensical in the moment. Unlike the other elven subraces, they do not seek to ascribe a greater purpose to their uplifting; "the Prince had his reasons and I have mine" (referring to Telwyth-Teg, Prince of Goblins) is a common expression.
Fey-orc rarely, if ever, worship Gruumsh outright, treating him as a complicated minor deity. Most of the fey-orc worship either the Order of the Outcast (a chaotic-neutral-aligned order dedicated primarily to Arawn, Morigana, Prometheus, and Gruumsh) or the Order of the Shepherd (a neutral-good-aligned order dedicated primarily to Prometheus, Danu, and Dagda).
Common Dress code
Fey-orc traditional dress is both practical (suited to the harsh winds and frigid winters of their prairie homelands) and beautiful (covered in the intricate, tapestry-like patterns of their stories). They make heavy use of the fur of the Furwÿrmë.
Art & Architecture
Fey-orcs are nomadic, preferring light, easy-to-move yurts or even naturally discovered underground burrows to permanent buildings.
