Via Verenestra
The Via Verenestra is the gambling and entertainment center of Cantonova, located on the northern edge of the Cuarto Perso.
Architecture
High Elf architecture is more common on the Vía Verenestra than anywhere else in the city. Buildings are of white stone, with wooden accents painted in bright, enticing colors. Signs for major establishments are enchanted to glow brightly, as are the tiny "fairy lights" that zigzag over the street.
Tourism
Visitors to the Vía Verenestra typically come to gamble at the casinos, see racy or bawdy shows at the theaters, and drink the wide selection of alcoholic beverages at the taverns. Less well-known, but no less coveted by those aware of them, are the restaurants that serve illegal delicacies and the dens where patrons can smoke strong hallucinogenic herbs. The lone religious building on the street, a small temple to Dionysus, serves mainly as a place of recovery for exhausted, hungover revelers at the end of their night (or, more often, the next morning).
