Meeting in the West Plot

Follow through the 3rd person limited perspective of Kkamol Zekker, a ruler of the Daw'lni Collective, as he travels to Halwoth for a discussion between the Collective and the Maraian Triumvirate. The story picks up on the way into the city, opening with the description of the city, following him as he meets with the reigning Emperor of the Maraian Empire.

Plot points/Scenes

Scene 1:   The opening scene begins at the gates of Halwoth, following Kkamol as he enters the city. There are several moments, snippets of dialogue between him and a translator as they head to the capitol building. The scene cuts as he is given a room to clean himself up in and prepare for the meeting.   Scene 2:   The second scene is the main body of the text, being the meeting. It portrays the discussion, mediated by the translator. The scene ends with the conclusion that an army must be dispatched to help against the Khiz Empire.

Themes

Due to having a large connection to the Ahkalba Language, many of the themes in the story are about the potential of communication. This involves the use of emotions and physical actions as a language barrier acts as a main barrier between the characters.

Components

Hooks

The hook of the story is the walk through the city, narrated by a few snippets of dialogue in Ahkalba spoken with a translator.

Stakes

The story, while meant to have a wonderous opening, there is meant to be a harsh turn to political darkness. The meeting between the members of both organizations will be held in high tension, having several members from other countries, all standing up to offer aid to the Republic of the East while the Khiz Empire was causing large amounts of destruction.
