Welcome to Opideon

Opideon is a fantasy world made for the creation of the novel series, The Fifth Spirit, as well as all accompanying shorts. The world is meant to take a deep dive into a study of humanity through the fictional world. I wrote this world for the purpose of understanding humans and processing them through the use of fiction. Explore the world where the failures and successes of ideas and topics like politics, religion, and mental health through the social lens of the many people and societies/cultures that exist in the world. The world, which is still in its early stages of existence, has a large plan set out before it:

The Plan

The world is meant to sustain a collection of stories including a planned 3-10 short stories to act as examples of the magic system and a test of character development. The main purpose of the world will eventually be built up around the main trilogy. This means that the locations and ideas included in the world will be more bulked out, though all parts of the would should receive a near equal amount of attention so that the short stories can be written.
