Four Eyes

Four Eyes is the name of an intelligence sharing program between the Intelligence Agencies of several Transnational Aerospace Security Alliance (TASA) member nations. Four Eyes derives its name from the original four nations that participated in the program: The United North American States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Germany. The program has since grown to include most other allied nations but retains the initial numerology. Four Eyes in fact predates TASA by a few years, and the relationship between the two organizations has been the subject of many conspiracy theories.
Four Eyes was formed to facilitate intelligence sharing in terms of counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, and existential threats between the member nations in the wake of World War 3's devastation. For the majority of the 22nd and 23rd centuries, Four Eyes was merely an administrative program that allowed sovereign nations' agencies to coordinate with each other. Four Eyes became an important tool during various war efforts, allowing a great degree of coordination and dissemination of actionable intelligence on the battlefield. Four Eyes further coordinated with TASA Marine Corps Intelligence and TASA Space Corps Fleet Intelligence to allow TASA to fight more efficiently and effectively across national lines.
Unfortunately, Four Eyes suffered during peacetime, falling victim to inter-agency rivalry and conflicts of interest, culminating with the devastating terrorist attack on Most Mira Station - Мост Мира Станция on 10 October, 2300. Later investigations would determine that the lack of information sharing - a problem Four Eyes was designed to address - prevented Four Eyes from catching onto the plot until it was too late. Many agencies had different pieces of the puzzle, but none had enough to put the whole picture together. In the 24th Century, Four Eyes underwent a drastic reorganization as a proper Intelligence Agency in its own right, drawing some of the most talented analysts, case workers, and technicians into international service. Four Eyes is now one of the most influential intelligence agencies, working closely with TASA to develop and target the New Dawn terrorist network.
