TASA Space Corps
The TASA Space Corps is the space-faring branch of the Transnational Aerospace Security Alliance (TASA). The Space Corps manages all spacecraft, space facilities, and scientific/exploratory projects. The Space Corps fleet consists for both military and scientific vessels, and contains far more noncombatants than its counterpart, the TASA Marine Corps. Many join the TASA Space Corps to participate in space exploration and scientific endeavors.
TASA's Space Corps is one of the more formidable space forces in the Solar System by design. TASA ships are numerous and have modular designs allowing easy upgrade, refit, or customizations for specialized missions. TASA has the highest number of long-distance capable spacecraft with high ΔV, giving them the advantage at force projection and rapid transit. TASA ships are often contracted to protect the interests of corporations and smaller nations as far away as the Jovian system.
In the last decade, ground conflicts on Luna and Mars have required the TASA Space Corps to dedicate considerable resources to supporting TASA Marine Corps surface missions, to include ferrying troops to combat zones from Earth and back.
