The Thirteen Circles and Covens

Sa-Reshi identifies The Thirteen Circles and Covens as a rational extension of her control over the natural domain. While there are certainly more than thirteen druidic circles and witch covens in the Aennanethi Witch-Empire (and, by extension, Orasrupt and the Multiverse), these Thirteen are the most elite and the most (theoretically) loyal to Sa-Reshi.

Structure

Each circle has a leader who reports directly to Sa-Reshi. The names of this leader vary, and they might be called:
  • Lord/Lady of the Coven
  • Altar of the Circle
  • High Priest/Priestess
  • etc.
Their Circle might be one unified structure, or might be split into several smaller families, with family heads at the lead. These Circles usually number between 80-200, but some of Sa-Reshi's most directly controlled circles boast up to 500 witches.   Circles and Covens are used interchangeably for all 13. Some include:
  • The Osraighe Coven, currently attached to the Army of Nodens.
  • The Gothwyn Circle, currently attached to the Army of Taranis.
  • The Aesin Circle, defected to the side of the Banrigh .

Culture

The Circles and Covens are tightly knit family structures (no matter the heritage) to those who have been involved with them for a long time, and they might seem unfamiliar to a newcomer.   They widely advocate for a return to the wilds, as a more soothing and natural state. This is not a consistent belief, but it is held by a majority of members.   They can be highly isolationist, keeping to themselves - even between circles.
