History
In early 568 CY an adventuring party exploring Caves of Chaos has discovered a cult of Tharizdun has attempted to infiltrate the keep. Having slain the priest Lendor after a sudden attack from him during an expedition, the party informed Ignominionof the potential infiltration of the evil cultists, which resulted in a short-lived lockdown of the keep and thorough examination of the inhabitants. Any potential threat from the cult has been eliminated, gaining the adventurers a little bit of recognition among the denizens of the keep.
Later that year, after further adventuring and bringing of riches to the keep the adventurers caught the interest of the Castellan Sareena di Terlizzo who invited themover for a feast to get to know them better and soon after offer a quest. They were tasked with exploring what was believed to be a vault created by the previous owners of the keep and search it for any historical records that would shed some light onto their history, which was lost. The location turned out to be a ruined Temple of Phyton, exploration which revealed that it was destroyed by followers of Ehlonna, with whom previous owners were associated with. After the discovery of the crime, the rangers and druids who represented Ehlonna retaliated against the ruler for damaging part of the forest and the inhumane destruction of Phyton's followers. Having fulfilled the the quest the adventurers were allowed access to the upper bailey of the keep and the library, where they came into contact with the wizard Ocawyn who has been staying in the keep together with his hirelings Lionguard Mercenaries. His research into the lost city Mendergast in the former Suel Imperium, now the Sea of Dust.
During the Growfest of 568 the adventurers participated in the celebrations, having taken part in the contest of strength, leading to the victory being claimed by Mist on The Water.
Immediately following the festival the adventuring group, together with the Lionguard Mercenaries and led by Ocawyn departed towards the Sea of Dust.
