Imladon

In the year 5, a great explosion destroyed the city of Imladon. However, this explosion while distruptive in nature a had major impact on all live in Lemotion. Previously, all people could not die but after this event life and death returned to the normal cycle.

Spoiler explanation

The explosion was a result of the attack of Terrib'le'noise on the fanatic Gollusiris . He wanted to raise a reborn The Grim Reaper . However, the three heros stopped him and with the help of mysterious spirit with a potential connection to the famous bard Liliyane Anlay could destroy the collected powerful artefacts of the Grim Reaper. This destruction cracked the barriers created by Alpha and enable a touch of the Grim Reapers personality to enter the world of Lemotion again. All other gods good as well touch the continent again but the Grim Reaper had the largest impact and should continue to expand on it until is defeat of Aardrac .

While the city was almost completly annihalted in the explosion the surrounding prosperred with a previously unseen ferosity. The plants and animals grow bigger and stronger than anywhere else. Mages could harnisse the power of the weave more than in a long time. While these effects degenerated of the next century. It lead to the rise of great city of New Imladon controlled and ruled by the family of vat Verden. At the peak of it's power the city was in the year 184 struck by another catastrophic event. The earth errupted with immense supernatural power also none as the Shattering . Nebelous gas (called the haze) rose in the city and shard of Delerium emerged from the ground.
