The formal investiture of Lord Frederick Sondeheim

On Tyr , the formal investiture of Lord Frederick Sondeheim took place. While Lord Sondeheim has held the title since 2590 following the abdication of his father, Lord Aurelian Sondeheim, the title has been held in regency by Lady Victoria Krane-Sondeheim, his mother.

The procession made its way from the fortress “Elbar's Rest” to land set aside for the construction of a new Cathedral Lord Frederick has announced. The planned Cathedral was to be dedicated to the Valtinist Faith, and the Ranger faction specifically. Lord Frederick was sworn in before those in attendance as Lord Sondeheim, Lord of Tyr, Shield of Luxor, and Defender of the Tyran Faithful. Lord Sondeheim was then given his symbols of office.
  The ceremony was attended by Princess Anastasia Valane (ONX), her daughter Sofia Valane, Prince Thaddeus Krane (IND), Lord Ranford Capotelli (IND), Count Royce Cutbill (ISO), Father-General Tiberius Corvo (ISO), and Demba Madawi (ONX) to name a few. Vice President Estelle Bancroft (ONX) was also seen, representing the government.
  Following the ceremony, Lord Sondeheim made his way back to Elbar's Rest to the cheers of the Tyran crowds. He later confirmed his cabinet and advisors to aid him as he takes control of the considerable Sondeheim estates and Lordship.
  On the balcony flanked by his siblings and mother Lord Frederick waved to the crowds and started a long weekend of celebrations. Open air markets, concerts, and festivals were held with the headline act, Cypress Park kick starting their reunion tour in a well received set
  The people of Tyr turned out in droves, with more than 150,000 people there for the unveiling and more than 750,000 people travelling to the capital to take part in the celebrations. A casual trip down any residential street on Tyr and you'd have seen the red and white banner of House Sondeheim flying from nearly every home.
