A small farming town at the base of the Heissermount, Gottherf is also the seat of the council of Bassel. Here, the lead farmers and councilmen discuss and distribute the crop of the season as well as discuss politics of their Canton. Being the largest town near the Heissermount, many
herbalists and alchemist reside here temporarily or permanently from abroad to take advantage of the area’s vast supplies of rare herbs.
