Parval Blackstone

Commander of The Wardens Parval Blackstone (a.k.a. The Lord of Horses)

Parval Blackstone was born to a noble house; one of the most noble houses amongst wizards of the Family Blackstone; A direct descendant of the legendary Alchemist Regulus Blackstone. Born in Shale, everywhere the young Parval journeyed he met powerful sorcerers and wizards who regaled him with tales of his forebearer with great passion and admiration. By his ninth year he had grown tired of the constant false affection these "charlatans" poured onto his mother and father, who did not share his distaste for the spotlight. Parval grew older and more bitter, discovering himself to be a Scribb much like Regulus; he however saw this as a blessing. He would never be cursed with magic, or having to live up to the Blackstone name. His Father had spent much of his life attempting this impossible feat and he had watched it consume him. The Blackstones were shocked to learn Parval had dropped out of Arcanist school and asked him to formally leave the estate. He found work as dock hand on a ship, from there he found himself in service of a horse trader in Andrim. From their he volunteered for the Wardens as a stable master; The more time he spent among nature, among the beasts of the land the more at ease he felt. He rose through the ranks of the wardens quite quickly, becoming leader of his order in his 6th year with the group. In his 15th year he was elected Commander by his peers, and has been leading The Wardens to greater numbers than ever before. He earned his nickname "The Lord of Horses" when a Grotvine infection took Fort Elmin from the Wardens in his 4th year as leader of his order. He took this as a sign from Gaia that the wardens should not setup such elaborate fortresses or even make permanent camps, creating a caravan of hundreds of horses, carts and wardens in tow. Though the Nomadic Wardens patrol the Southern Lowlands, it is unknown what their relationship, if any is with Lord Zyll
