Sehanine, the Moonweaver is the daughter of both Pelor and Melora. Fitting that the daughter of the sun is his opposite. Where he aimed to shine on all parts of the universe, bringing his gift, she pushed away from it. Not denying the light, but unable to shine on her own while in his presence. Overtime the Moonweaver developed followers of her own, but the Dawn War was when she grew both infamy and fear.

Through the imprisonment of Tharizdun, Sehanine realized the power her father possessed. Light being the ultimate power against absolute darkness. Sehanine recognized her gift with the light was between them both. An equal middle from to much of either side, embracing that thought helped her to expand her ability. The start of the Dawn War led to various battles across the planes of the multiverse, Osserea being one of those places. The most notable battle she partook in was alongside Corellon, against the Betrayer God known as Gruumsh.

Time would pass during the war, where she continued to spread her religion and aid the mortals of Osserea when tragedy struck. Kelemvor, the god of death, was slain by Azmodeus. The vacant position led to souls being left in limbo, amassing hatred and exacting out revenge on Osserea. Undead, ghouls, foul aberrations and spirits began rising on mass, leading to a conflict that threatened the lives of all mortals on the material plane.

Sehanine, seeing this a sign, recognized the power she held. Pelor was locked in combat on the other planes, leaving her power over light to shine in a time of absolute darkness. The Moonweaver took up the mantle of commander, leading the mortals of Osserea into war against the undead. Many were lost, but the undeads numbers dwindled slowly. When the Raven Queen rose to power, she aided in this war, helping the souls to live out the rest of their time in the upper and lower planes.

As the war against the dead came to a close, Sehanine reached a following as much as the other Prime Deities. The Drurian Dynasty amassed in her honor, taking her symbol and bearing her temples as their primary religion. Both during the war and in modern times, undead are still present in large numbers, never completely irradicated.

In modern times, Temples honor the longest night of the year in her honor. Celebrating and honoring her memory from the Dawn War.
