"Resourceful Finders"Esku Argiak (Light Hands) is Ostelliach's thieves guild, rumored to be located somewhere beneath the Cities of Mercy and Wrath in the City of Wrath's subterranean respite Where Labor Lapses to the Quiet Breath.
Territories
Esku Argiak has locations in most main cities, though they are conspicuously absent from Expatria as a rule, given the harsh punishments for theft in Expatria and the fact that the floating city generally sees to the needs of its people in ways that remove the steal-to-eat mentality that the guild prioritizes.
Technological Level
Esku Argiak enourages its agents to be as creative and technologically savvy as they want to be, using artificery or classic sleight of hand at each person's discretion. The larger guild halls may even have an artificing workshop or equipment that agents can rent to enhance their escapades such as stealth tools or magical lockpicks.
Laws
Esku Argiak does not condone killing in its endeavours and tends to frown upon those who cause needless violence, pain, or hardship while acquiring stock. They recognize that this brings undue attention upon the guild. Additionally, they discourage any sort of theft that is motivated by spite or targeting those with less means than the agent themself has. In this, they operate as something of a Robin Hood operation.
In general, Esku Argiak is a guild made out of necessity. The acquisition of wealth is not discouraged, but generally they serve as a safe outlet for managing necessary theft, a sort of harm reduction in economies that do not adequately support the needs of the people.
Education
Occasionally, enterprizing individuals can seek additional training in the art of thievery through their local guild hall. However, this is generally for established members and requires a degree of trust between mentor and mentee; Esku Argiak does not provide schools so much as networking to bring together different talents who can assist each other.
