Ourelios Heia Eefissa (or-ELL-ee-os HEY-uh EE-fuss-uh)
Prinzetta of Mercy Minor - Heia
Ourelios is a noted alchemist in the City of Mercy, marking a rare example of someone born into status but choosing to pick a profession to work on and become known for (especially one that often operates out of the City of Wrath). She is married to noted eccentric and artificer Zedron Eefis.
The Prinzetta of Mercy Minor, Ourelios Heia Eefissa, was born into the City of Mercy inheriting the title "Prinzetta Minor" to denote what is (to outsiders) widely considered a made-up title in a made-up hierarchy in a made-up system of honorifics. Roughly, it means she was born to family that had been in the city for multiple generations but not a ton of generations (hence "Minor"). The title is gender-neutral but is only awarded to those who inherit it through birth, not marriage. Heia is her maiden/family name, while Eefissa means "Partner/Wife of Eefis."Ourelios's family made their wealth as textile merchants and weavers, something she deviated from in her schooling onward, though she still oversees the family business technically (as all business deals generally require her signet ring's approval). She displays a shrewd head for business that involves merging her love of alchemy with generations of textile knowledge, creating innovative new dyes and thread types that keep her wealth secure.
As of Session 20: Everyone's Got a MILC, Ourelios is the patron of the adventuring party, funding and supporting their work in their new settlement. (See Settlement Building).
Physical Description
Body Features
A half elf (elf/human) of moderate height and a body composition that matches one whose extent of manual labor experience is still contained within a small lab.
Ourelios is often seen in a smock dyed with different colors, pigments, chemicals, and regents; the smock is, of course, to cover the gauzy flows of different fabric in the dresses she wears. She is always impeccably dressed, considering herself to be representing the Heia textile market at all times. Often wears large circular lens glasses similar to readers when working (or fresh out of the lab).
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Ourelios is typically seen as a combination of airheaded inheritor of established wealth and a shrewd business negotiator, with the two sides often switching on a dime...one might think on purpose in order to be underestimated. That said, she grew up in luxury and is very determined to maintain it.
Social
Family Ties
Ourelios married for love, a privilege afforded to the head of a company making the decisions for it. Her husband, Zedron, was a whimsical artificer who swept her off her feet during her alchemical studies; his eccentricities matched well with some of her own, though Ourelios is undoubtedly the "face" of the couple and by far the more skilled at navigating social situations.
Those tuned into social hierarchies note that Ourelios must care for her husband quite a lot to choose to take his name as part of hers, especially as the head of a family business known by name primarily.
